Allergies and preservatives

Investigation by the European Union

On page 22 you will find: "Fragrance ingredients have to be considered a leading cause of contact allergy. Further, SCCNFP is of the opinion that information should be provided to consumers about the known presence in cosmetic products of fragrance ingredients with a well-recognised potential to cause contact allergy. It is up to the legislator to consider the best way to provide the information to the consumers".
